Great place to stop and eat. Very friendly staff that was non stop checking on tables. Food was very good and came out fast. Definitely will be back
The new dinner menu is great! You have to try the Truffle fries. So yummy! We tried 4 of the new entrees and enjoyed them all. The pork chop and shrimp Po boy were favorites. And very friendly service made the meal top notch!
My wife had a burger w/fries (steak fries). I had the country fried steak skillet. Everything was excellent. Great food, great portions. The staff were friendly and took really good care of us. We didn’t wait long for our food and our waitress checked on us many times! Unfortunately I forgot her name, but she was terrific! The atmosphere was extremely clean and comfortable. The prices are very reasonable compared to all of the local options. We had not been to Merlin’s in many years due to bad experiences in the past , but heard that ownership had changed recently. This was a great visit all around. We will definitely be back!!
Went for breakfast and it was delicious. Classic breakfast favorites, cooked to order! I highly recommend this place, and the lunch dishes looked great too! I will be returning to try more!
Check this place out if you're in the area. My Mom and I were on our way back from Mille Lacs. She suggested it, she had been there before. I had a BLT, well a BL, not a tomato fan. It had crispy fried , the sourdough bread was toasted, so good! Came with steak , yummy! Very friendly and family oriented.
This is a great place for breakfast. They have all the breakfast options. We had a small bus group of seniors going to Merlin's and they had a table ready for us when I called and asked only 30 minutes before we arrived. Most of the food is excellent and they do have a senior menu. Only negatives was 2 people in the group their food was cold by the time they got it. The scrambled eggs are flat and I prefer mine fluffy. They did accommodate everyone with their little differences in his they wanted things, for example one wanted their bacon crispy and another one wanted it not crispy. Checkout the giant Carmel and cinnamon rolls.
Good classic diner food and atmosphere. Get there early and you'll see the daily gaggle of old timers discussing the news of the day. Wait staff is friendly and service is as expected. Recent addition is pretty, but lots of hard surfaces make the autistics a bit difficult for those with any hearing issues. The older areas of the dinning room have quieter acoustics. When our kids were little they loved the chainsaw art bear outside and wanted pancakes just like him. If you love diners,you'll be glad you stopped.
The dinner foods here are amazing and the service was stellar!! It’s crazy the place only had 3 groups eating in there. If you have not given Merlin’s a try for dinner you should!!! 1-16-2025 Went to Merlin’s for dinner and if have not gone you need to!! Good prices and even better food.
